Hi Captain; My bug for bikes began when my father used to ride me around on the gas tank of his 1936 Harley, so my mother told me. I was born in 1935 and don't remember much about it. But after the war when he bought a 1948 Harley 61, he used to ride me around on the back of it and I do remember that! My first bike of my very own was an old army Harley 45, made in 1942 and dipped in green paint. If I became infected as a boy, I became terminal with that old Harley and I have been riding motorcycles to this day. I've had Harleys, Triumph, BSA, BMW, CZ, Indian, Suzuki, and now the LS650, which I thoroughly enjoy in spite of that hard seat which I wish someone would improve! As far as being bit by the bug, I can think of worse things to become addicted to!
